• Email Address (Hosts Only): If you create a session as a host, we may collect your email address for account management and recovery.
• Session Data: Temporary data about your votes and preferences within a specific session.

2. How We Use Information

We use this data solely to:

• Provide restaurant recommendations via the Google Maps Platform depending on your location.
• Facilitate the voting process between you and your friends.
• Improve app performance and fix bugs.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to make the app work:

• Google Maps Platform: Used for map display, place search, and location data. By using this app, you bound by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• Supabase / Firebase (if applicable): For backend database and authentication.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We don't want your data forever.

• Session Data: Automatically deleted after the session expires (typically 24-48 hours).
• Account Data: Retained as long as your account is active.
• Deletion Request: You can request full data deletion at any time by emailing us at support@makanmana.site. We will process your request within 30 days.

We use basic technical cookies to keep your session alive. We do not use third-party advertising cookies that track you across other sites.

MakanMana is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
